Process 6 for Project 3:Cyclical Nature of Things / Tree Project
I was considering taking the tread idea to a new level by inserting scissors in to clip the threads, but I feel that it makes the image too complicated, So I may just keep them out. Also, I don't think my message is being fully communicated, I was trying to convey the idea of similarities between the two different sexes, I don't want this to be a typical romance image of soul mates. Does anyone have suggestions on how to deter from that message and suggest the first? A side note as well, those are actual tree rings in the moth's wings, I just used an invert layer and stretched them so they'd mimic a wing shape, also, in response to some comments, I don;t really want to add background elements because they may distract from the main image. If I do however decide to add something I may make it very minimal as to suggest the atmosphere.
